- Anthony M. DeLuise started VERSARi Private Capital Advisory in April, 2017 to focus exclusively on private placements after having held the titles of Managing Director and Head of Private Placements at: Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (“DLJ”), Credit Suisse Securities, LLC and Raymond James. & Associates. He has more than 30 years of investment banking experience in domestic and international finance and regularly advises clients on a broad array of financing alternatives. His expertise is in structuring complex transactions and globally distributing securities privately.
- Anthony started his investment banking career at E.F. Hutton & Company Inc. where he was Vice President of the Private Placement/High Yield Group. He joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1988 and spent 12 years there, where he built and headed the leading Private Placement Group. At DLJ, he developed a unique and extremely effective approach to distribution, which expedited the execution of private placements and made the group one of the most successful on Wall Street
- After DLJ’s acquisition by Credit Suisse, he stayed at Credit Suisse for 11 years where he was the Head of Private Placements (2000 – 2009). He also selected as a member of the Global Markets Solution Group Committee. In 2010, he became the Chairman of the Credit Suisse Private Placement Group. Under his leadership, Credit Suisse was ranked as one of the leading investment banks in the private placement area. While he headed the private placement groups at Credit Suisse and DLJ, over $20 billion of private placements were closed for more than 250 clients. He joined Raymond James in 2011 to develop their private placement group. He left in April, 2017 to start Versari.
- He has successfully closed transactions ranging in size from $15 million to $2 billion. His work has covered an array of different industries with a focus on energy, healthcare, technology and industrials. His focus has always been on client service.
- Before becoming an investment banker, Anthony had a corporate background holding the positions of Director of Corporate Finance at Trans World Corporation and Pan American World Airways, Inc. where he completed many complex financings. He also has extensive international experience as Manager of Treasury International at Trans World Airlines, Inc., where he was responsible for TWA’s foreign exchange exposure and foreign exchange trading activities
- Anthony received his M.B.A. with distinction from the New York University School of Business and has graduate degrees in both finance and accounting. He attended St. John’s University on scholarship where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude. He had also received a CPA license from the State of Florida (currently inactive status)

- Shivnarayan “Shiv” Singh joined VERSARi Private Capital Advisory (“Versari”) in April, 2017 to focus exclusively on private placements. He has over 20 years of diversified international experience in investment banking & consulting. Shiv has 15 years of global private placements experience raising equity, equity-linked & debt financings for a variety companies. Shiv has worked for Credit Suisse USA, HSBC Securities USA, INTL FCStone Securities USA and RBC-Daniels USA, amongst others Shiv has spent time guiding growth companies as a consultant and advisor helping to match their private placements fund raising with their business development efforts. He spent two years as Managing Director of Private Placements at INTL FCStone Securities building out global private placement capabilities across Technology, FIG, Industrials, Infrastructure & Logistics, Agribusiness Power/Energy/Renewables and Metals /Mining sectors
- Shiv was a Sr. Vice President with Private Placement Group at Credit Suisse Securities USA and worked almost four years with this leading franchise. He was instrumental in building the Renewables/Cleantech private placement effort and involved in origination/execution of several successful private placement transactions across various sectors, including Financials, Energy & Power, Technology, Media, Transportation, Healthcare, Consumer/Retail, Industrials and Real Estate
- Shiv spent two years as Asst. Vice President with the Media & Entertainment Group at HSBC Securities USA where he was involved with global origination, execution, advisory and coverage efforts for clients such as Time Warner, Viacom, News Corp, Walt Disney, Dream Works, Expedia, Comcast, UBM, Interpublic Group & Omnicom, among others. Prior to that he worked as Associate with TMT Group at RBC-Daniels USA and as Consultant/Manager of Business Development Group for Wave Communications USA
- Shiv has successfully worked on ~$10 billion of private placement transactions ranging in size from $5 million to $2 billion across a variety of industries. Select companies he has undertakes private placements include: Tygris Commercial Finance Group, Opus Bank, South Street Securities, Hyundai Merchant Marine, MEG Energy, Milestone Aviation Group, Cell Genesys, Invenergy, Xtralis, Enerkem, IRI, Rediff.com, Dianet Communications, Smith Media, BreitBurn Energy Partners, HelioVolt, Matisse Networks, CEVA Group
- Shiv received his M.I.M degree in Finance & International Business from Thunderbird, School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ. Prior to that he got his M.B.A. in Finance & Marketing form ITM (in assoc. with SNHU, Manchester, NH), Mumbai/India. He attended University of Mumbai/Mithibai College of Science where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
